PRESENTATION

Renaissance Alternative Music Festival is a 100% independent music festival aimed at supporting and diffusing alternative music.

It’s an event born from fans for fans dedicated to give space to both new and established bands and artists, with particular focus to the alternative underground scene.
It is made for people who love and appreciate music, and want to discover new artists and bands. It’s for those who enjoy great shows, and for everyone who is part of the alternative movement.

The festival is not based on a single music genre and mainly promotes all alternative music such as Metal, Industrial, Punk, Gothic, Rock, Steampunk as well as Acoustic, Noise, and Percussive acts, and everything in between and possibly beyond, while also giving space to alternative visual arts.

R.A.M. Festival aims to bridge the gap between mainstream music festivals and the acts that play live in venues all the year around.

Together with live music, comprising bands coming from all around the world, in over thirteen years the festival has hosted poetry, comic book exhibitions, life drawing, chess club, video games, live painting, theatre, photography exhibitions, book launch, cabaret, aerial circus performances, Morris dance, independent cinema, paper cutting arts and mixed arts.

CONCRETE AGE

Formed in the North Caucasus region in 2011 and relocating to London in 2014, Concrete Age has always been a band that follows its own path. By taking the ancient, primal sounds of ethnic music from around the world and blending them with the visceral power of extreme metal they have created songs that engage the heart and the mind and speak to the soul. Over the course of eight studio albums, numerous EPs, singles, and live releases, along with stunning live performances with legendary names like Marduk, Vader, Hate Eternal, and Korpiklaani, Concrete Age have honed their skills and refined their shamanistic magic – all of which has to lead to new album Bardo Thodol. Immediately after the release of Bardo Thodol, the band began recording a new album. This time the frontman Ilia Morozov decided to make his old dream come true and create a symbiosis of Caucasian folk music with the band’s unique style. The recording lasted almost a year and work on the album was completed in January 2024.

Electronic harsh fun duo Isn’tses Lisa McKendrick and Tim Drage combine postindustrial rhythms with vocals, noise and cosmic freedom of sound. In the Winter of 2017 five like minded individuals came together to create the most raw and

Groovy Thrash Death band from London formed in 2022 by drummer Evil E (exSavage Messiah, exThe Heretic Order) , singer guitarist Jp Lethal (Sanguinem singer) and bassist Diabolical C. Their first gig was opening for The heretic order at The Dev, a well known venue in Camden, London in February 2023. They then signed up to play at M2TMLondon 2023 competition and subsequently went through the heats until they reached the final at The Boston Music Rooms.After this they were chosen as main support for Cultura Tres featuring Paulo Jr. from Sepultura at a packed out Dev pub in September. Next they supported the Heretic order at Carts & Horses in east London in October. Recently, they have been invited to feature as noncompeting guest headliners at M2TM 2024 this coming February 18th at The Dev. MAXDMYZ

Maxdmyz is a five piece alt metal band based in London, England. Their careers, as individuals, have encompassed industrial, grunge, rock, blues, jazz, goth, punk and various shades of grunge and metal – black, death, progressive, thrash, etc, etc. The band, itself, has also gone through different musical styles, from guitar driven drum and bass to house inspired metal anthems but the sound has always been dark, passionate and heavy. Will Crewdson presents Scant Regard, a solo one-man whirlwind of pure unadulterated guitar driven energy. Also known for his guitar work with Adam Ant, The Selecter, Johnette Napolitano, Gaye Bykers On Acid, Rachel Stamp and Flesh for Lulu, Will rams home all his experience into this mindbending apocalyptic amalgamation of epic soundtrack proportions. He deftly merges the early electronic pioneering flavours of Fad Gadget, Cabaret Voltaire and Nitzer Ebb with the classic twanging guitar sounds of Duane Eddy and Link Wray, adding to this a smattering of post punk energy and attitude to wrap it all up in a blood stained bow.

SCEPTOCRYPT

The original Sceptocrypt formed on the island of Malta in 1992. A band from a small nation yet with big intentions to forge a sound distinctively its own, an extreme metal (at a time where the tag was not yet penned) looking out of its own box (embracing nonmetal styles, without loosing its abrasive edge!) Releasing only 2 tapes in the 90s, Sceptocrypt was received warmly by the press with reviews as “demo of the month”, “one of the best demos of 1996”, “not your everyday kind of metal”, “a hell of a musical masterpiece”, “one of the most brilliant demoes in years”, “good solutions for their music, something that the majority of underground bands have not” among the many. There was also label interest, so Sceptocrypt recorded a full length (26 Hrs 72 mins …. the need to differ) in 1999. But as Sceptocrypt disbanded later that year, the CD was never promoted/released, and only made available at their Bandcamp in 2014, when Malcolm started writing for Sceptocrypt again. Fast forward to 2022, with near to 2 LPs running time of music, jammings with different musicians started, with the 1st release “The Unwanted Requiem” being released late 2023, followed by The Wards Outside in early 2024.

Jenika ioffreda is the creator of “Vampire Free Style”, self-published and award nominated comic book series about a black cat in a world of vampires, magic and witches. The series has sold over 5,000 copies in comic conventions around Europe, it was praised by reviewers and requested as set dressing for the movie “This Must Be The Place”.

She took part to different projects, including the “Kapow!
