REGICIDE UNLEASH NEW SINGLE ‘STRENGTH IN NUMBERS’ ON 18 SEPTEMBER 2026 |

East Anglian Thrash/Groove Metallers Regicide are set to unleash their new single, ‘Strength In Numbers’, on Friday 18 September 2026, the first taste of their eagerly awaited second album. Hailing from Chelmsford, Essex, Regicide are a four-piece Thrash/Groove Metal outfit delivering a relentless combination of crushing riffs, thunderous drums, guttural vocals and bone-breaking grooves. Formed in 2020 by a group of friends united by a shared love of heavy music, Regicide take inspiration from the likes of Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, Machine Head and Lamb of God, while forging a sound that is unmistakably their own. Their music combines the aggression of old-school thrash with modern groove, punishing breakdowns and an uncompromising live energy. Now, with their second album on the horizon, Regicide return with ‘Strength In Numbers’, a track centred on rebellion, resistance and collective power. “‘Strength In Numbers’ is about rebellion against authoritarian power — being told what to believe, how to live and who to follow, and finally snapping those chains. It’s about refusing to be controlled and fighting back against a system that wants to keep people powerless.” At its heart, the track is about the power of unity. One person can be silenced, but when people stand together, they become a force that is far harder to stop. ‘Strength In Numbers’ is a song about resistance, freedom and standing shoulder to shoulder with your brothers, fighting until the bitter end. The single marks the first of three tracks that will lead into the band’s second full-length album. ‘Infected Minds’ is scheduled for release in January 2027, followed by ‘Denialist Playbook’. The full album is planned for release in mid-2027 and will feature all three singles alongside six brand-new tracks. The album will be available across all major streaming platforms, as well as in physical formats. |

‘Strength In Numbers’ was written and performed by Regicide. It was recorded by Talon Payne at Gallow Wood Media and was mixed and master by Ed Sokolowski.
