Connecticut’s In 2 Again are channeling early 2000’s post-hardcore built on enticing riffs and dynamic scream-sung vocals. Sharing members with bands such as Balmora and Kidnapped, In 2 Again debuted in 2024 with the It’s All Red To Me EP and quickly began playing shows in the northeast.
Single “Shed Hunting,” out today through DAZE, is true early Glassjaw worship. Vocalist’s Jay Torblaa’s high-pitched voice rivals Palumbo’s, accented by sarcastically delivered lines and palpable hooks. Sonically the band drives off swaying rhythms centric on unique drum and bass lines. The track screams with disdain as lyrics like “What are you if no-one sees you? Nothing” sink in. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered by drummer and producer Chris Torok at The Source in New Haven, CT.
