For post-hardcore band En Masse, the goal was always to write music that’s fun and reminiscent of what they’d want to listen to. Channeling bands like Glassjaw and Deftones while mixing in influences from Depeche Mode and The Cure proved the perfect formula. Today En Masse release their newviolenttrends EP on Fever Ltd., mixed and mastered by Adam Cichocki. The four songs hone in on everything the band set out to create, blending chaotic bursts of rhythm and lush, fuzzed-out melodies into dynamic output. Stream it HERE.
“If there’s anything I’d want someone to feel while listening to this EP, it’s a sense of urgency,” shares vocalist Zack Santiago. “Ultimately, it’s about finding balance within yourself and embracing the autonomy you have in a seemingly hostile world.”
To celebrate the release, En Masse has shared a music video for closer “celine,” giving an invigorating performance of the frenzied, bass heavy track. You can watch the Nick Labraro directed video HERE.
En Masse will hit the road in early August with labelmates Fly Over States for dates along the east coast. Full Routing below,
