Based in Connecticut, Cinema Stare are crafting pop punk with a lot of heart and a modern feel. Signed to Static Era Records, the band released their debut album The Things I Don’t Need in 2023 and today unveil new single “Plus Ultra!”. Recorded with Chris Teti at Silver Bullet Studios and mastered by Will Putney, “Plus Ultra!” shows Cinema Stare fully coming into their own with bright melodies, catchy hooks, and unconventional tempo changes. Stream “Plus Ultra!” HERE.

Diving into the relatable lyrics, vocalist Quinn (she/they) shares:

“The song’s about my descent into anxiety and fighting back social bigots and economic pitfalls. Then instead of blaming the ‘stereotypes, systems and government’ at the end of the day, I entirely blame myself for my struggle.”

Cinema Stare is currently on tour across the United States alongside Cheem, Suzie True, and Oldsoul on select dates, and will perform at Fest in Gainesville, FL on October 25th. Full routing below.

Cinema Stare is Quinn – Vocals/Guitar, Austin Hainey – Guitar, Sean Maclure – Drums, and Joseph Pelegano – Bass.
