Credit Travis Shinn Papa Roach continues their mantra of “Rise Of The Roach” with the new song “See U In Hell” in collaboration with Season 2 of the NETFLIX original animated series “Devil May Cry”. It features the viral Indian rapper Hanumankind, who rose to fame in 2024 with his global hit song “Big Dogs” and his subsequent performances at Coachella and other major events. “See U In Hell” has quickly amassed nearly 20 million streams since its release last month – outpacing even the band’s most successful recent hits. It is the fourth single to be released in the new cycle. Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix told Rolling Stone India, “We wanted to tell the story of these two brothers — the pain, the anger, the resentment, the frustration, the battle, the war between them. When you can’t forgive, it just keeps bringing you hell. It’s an important story. I think it’s a lesson in a way. Don’t hold these resentments. Don’t hold these grudges. They crush you down.” American songwriter and electronic artist Alex Seaver, aka Mako, who also composed music for the series, returns with a co-lyricist and co-composer credit on “See U In Hell” alongside Tyler Demorest and Jacoby Shaddix. Last week, in a moment that will become one of the most talked-about highlights of the summer festival season, Papa Roach stunned fans at the sold-out Rock Am Ring with a jaw-dropping helicopter stunt straight out of a summer blockbuster action film, moments before taking the stage. Descending directly onto the festival grounds in front of 90,000 fans, the band’s dramatic entrance, led by the roach-esque gas-masked character from their “Rise of the Roach” artwork, electrified the crowd and set the tone for an unforgettable performance. Jacoby Shaddix reflected on the experience: “That moment was pure adrenaline. We’ve always believed rock shows should feel larger than life, and this was about creating a moment fans would never forget. The energy from that crowd was absolutely unreal.” Currently appearing at European festivals, the band’s ‘Rise Of The Roach’ + Special Guests UK & Ireland Tour hits the UK later this year – Presented by Action!
