LONDON, FRIDAY 2ND OCTOBER 2026: Huge crowds greeted rock legends Palaye Royale as the news leaked that they would be appearing for a surprise show in central London.

On the day that brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett announced sixth album Amsterdamage and a world tour of the same name, the band played a surprise set outside Kings Cross station, including new single ‘Lost In Translation’, which is out today.

Hoards of fans were waiting outside the offices of Virgin Music, the UK distributor for the album for Sumerian Records after word got out that the band were inside. The crowd followed the band en masse down to the station, the brothers taking selfies and signing records as they went.

Remington said: “Our fans are incredible – they give so much to us. We wouldn’t be here without them. Some of them travelled so far to be with us today. It’s very special. We can’t wait to be back in April for our Wembley Arena show.”

The short acoustic set included ‘Death or Glory’, ‘No Love In LA’, ‘Lost In Translation’ and ‘Mr. Doctor Man’.

Amsterdamage, set to be released on 22nd January, is available for pre-order on Sumerian. A major international tour will see more than 80,000 tickets sold.

Fans who preorder Amsterdamage from the Sumerian store before Tuesday can get early ticket access for the tour. See below for details. General sale for tour tickets begins at 10am (local time) on Friday 9th October.

Formed in 2008, the band has had more than a billion streams. In March and April the Amsterdamage Tour will hit the road with dates in the UK and Europe, including Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, with a headline show at OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday 3rd April. A US tour begins in Dallas at The Bomb Factory on 18th April and will culminate in a run of shows on Hollywood’s iconic Sunset Strip.

In 2024 the brothers lost their mother, Stephanie Rachel, to cancer. Their biggest champion, the person who first taught them that art was something nobody could ever take away – was gone.

Emerson said: “I think if we didn’t have this album, we would have all kind of gone separate ways. After losing our mother, this is our phoenix rising from the ashes. Each one of us took our own paths in dealing with death, and rejoined not only as individuals, but with our partners, and as brothers. This creative bond was the thing that kept us together.”

Written throughout 2025 between relentless touring, Amsterdamage took shape everywhere from the San Diego coastline to the Netherlands before being completed in Chris Greatti’s Los Angeles studio.

Remington said of ‘Lost in Translation’: “We felt pretty nostalgic writing this one. It took us back to the music we grew up on which was a lot of mid 2000s Brit rock bands. We wanted something upbeat and one that would go crazy live but the lyrics represent wanting to make something work so bad, whether it be a dream or a relationship and it seems like something is in the way of it working out and trying to push through at any cost.”

This year marks the latest stage after signing with the trailblazing, UK-based Expectation Management.
