London-based producer and DJ Oscar Farrell today shares “So Far South” the title track from his highly anticipated forthcoming EP, set for release on September 5th via dh2. His brand new track follows the release of recent singleDream Therapy (feat. Sampha), and a summer packed with standout festival appearances and club shows, the new track expands on the rich, forward-thinking sound at the heart of his upcoming EP.
“So Far South” carries a quiet, reflective energy — over a propulsive bass kick and scattered vocals it feels so intimate yet expansive. It’s music for unguarded moments, whether alone or in the middle of a crowded dance floor, and demonstrates something that Farrell is becoming known for – creating dance music with an emotional core that resonates beyond the club.

It’s been a standout summer for Farrell, with live highlights including Glastonbury sets alongside Joy (Anonymous), Lil Silva and Sampha; and an appearance at dh2’s 1 year anniversary party at Phonox with George Daniel, Kelly Lee Owens and Surusinghe.
