London / Seoul — Oscar Farrell & Mount XLR today share Mod Break and Variated 3, a two-track collaboration that brings together two rising and adventurous voices in contemporary electronic music.

The new release caps a defining 12 months for London-based producer and DJ Oscar Farrell, whose year began with the arrival of his debut EP I’ve Already Called in April, followed by the acclaimed So Far South EP in September and most recently reunited with dh2 founder George Daniel for their blistering recent single “volc4”, marking their second collaboration this year and further cementing the identity of the label’s evolving sound.

Farrell now teams up with Seoul’s Mount XLR, a producer known for folding experimental club textures, crisp percussive design and UK-leaning bass influences into an increasingly distinctive style. Together, the pair find a natural, intuitive chemistry.

The release lands ahead of three key live dates for Farrell. He joins the dh2 family at their next London party on Thursday 4th December at The Carpet Shop, Peckham, then up to Manchester for this year’s Warehouse Project on December 14th,  before returning in the new year to Village Underground on Friday 6th February, performing alongside 2D0GS and George Daniel.

This project, billed formally under Oscar Farrell & Mount XLR, marks the start of a new cross-continental partnership — a meeting point between London’s club architecture and Seoul’s forward-thinking experimentalism.
