If modern country is at its best when vulnerability meets grit, McCoy Moore is an artist quietly getting it exactly right. The rising Nashville-based singer-songwriter is already making waves in the UK and Europe, having just been announced as a performer on one of the festival stages at Country to Country (C2C) this March, alongside a special appearance on the Bluebird Cafe Stage for a seated songwriters’ round at the O2 Blueroom, a setting perfectly suited to his story-first songwriting.
Moore’s path has been years in the making. Everything changed in 2017, when the 16-year-old dreamer met Luke Combs. Offering sage advice, Combs encouraged Moore’s relaxed-fit authenticity while preaching a make-it-happen mindset, guidance the young songwriter took to heart as he began carving out his own lane.
Moving to Nashville at 19, Moore spent the ensuing years honing a craft defined by sharp country hooks and warm, welcoming relatability, already earning songwriting cuts with Shane Profitt, Roman Alexander, Bryce Mauldin and more, proof of his credibility both onstage and behind the scenes.
As an artist McCoy has kicked off this year with ‘Prayin’ For Me‘, a reflective, faith-tinged single that captures the humility and emotional clarity quickly becoming his signature. Written from a moment when things finally began to click in Nashville, the song feels less like a victory lap and more like a thank-you note, to the people who believed in him before the momentum arrived, and those still believing now.

Following the release of his debut EP last year, Moore has already been tipped as one to watch by Country Now, Fandom Daily, Music Mayhem and more. Holler praised his ability to balance “vulnerability and grit, tradition and modernity,” while Entertainment Focus called the EP “a bold, versatile first chapter… built for the long run.”

Early fan favourites like ‘John Deere Blue’ described by Music Row as “classy, classic-sounding country”, and ‘Naming Boats’ first turned heads, and ‘Prayin’ For Me’ continues to showcase Moore’s knack for heartfelt, intimate storytelling rooted in modern country tradition.
On the road, Moore’s rise has been just as steady. He recently wrapped opening runs with Kip Moore and Chase Rice, and 2026 is shaping up to be a breakout year as he joins HARDY’s COUNTRY! COUNTRY! Tour across North America as well as making his European debut at C2C London, Berlin and The Netherlands, marking the beginning of his global chapter.
At just 24, McCoy Moore is building a career the old-fashioned way, honest songs, relentless touring, and a voice that sounds lived-in beyond his years. ‘Prayin’ For Me’ isn’t just a new single; it’s a statement from an artist on the brink of something much bigger.
