CONCLUDE RAPTUROUS LARGELY SOLD OUT “2024 PREMONITION WORLD TOUR” IN ARENAS & STADIUMS WORLDWIDE

Continuing a monumental run this year, Fueled By Ramen band ONE OK ROCK have unveiled their anxiously awaited new single “Dystopia” today. It is now streaming on all platforms. The band will drop a blockbuster music video to accompany the track imminently on their official YouTube channel.

“Dystopia” takes flight as an arena-sized anthem steeped in end-of-the-world urgency. A head-nodding beat anchors the track as distorted guitar uplifts the instantly chantable chorus, “We got no place to go and nothing to lose, find euphoria in dystopia. Between a bright keyboard melody and a punchy bridge, the song reaches towering heights fueled by the band’s distinct and dynamic interplay.

Fittingly, ONE OK ROCK teased the single’s arrival in momentous fashion. During the final stop of their largely sold out “2024 Premonition World Tour” at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles earlier this week, they unveiled a snippet of the song’s visual, leaving the audience hungry for more.

They met the overwhelming fan demand tenfold with its release today!

The “2024 Premonition World Tour” saw the band captivate nearly 200,000 fans at just eight shows across seven countries. Standing out as their largest global run to date, they notably showcased their massive full-scale stadium show in Europe and North America for the first time ever. Among many highlights, UK superstar Ed Sheeran grabbed an acoustic guitar and joined the band for a very special surprise rendition of “Wherever You Are during the London stop at OVO Arena Wembley on October 11. The tour encompassed rapturous headline gigs at Kaohsiung’’ Kaohsiung National Stadium, Dusseldorf’s Mitsubishi Electric Halle, Paris’ Zénith de Paris — La Villette, London’s OVO Arena Wembley, Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum, and more.

This summer, the group served up “Delusion: All.” Right out of the gate, it surged with over 15 million Spotify streams and counting as well as 9.5 million YouTube views on the music video. Earning acclaim worldwide, Rock Sound raved, “A driving rock song with massive choruses and a whole load of angst, the new track is an instant earworm,” and HYPEBEAST attested, “From production to sound quality, the new song is considerably more refined than their past discography and also a strong rock comeback following their experimental releases in recent years. Plus, it landed looks from Substream Magazine and more. “Delusion: All” also shines as the theme song of the live-action epic Kingdom: Return of the Great General, which opened in theaters across Japan this summer.

Beloved at home in Japan and worldwide, ONE OK ROCK shared “Make It Out Alive,” the first taste of new music since the release of their acclaimed 2022 album Luxury Disease. Niantic Inc. and CAPCOM,CO., LTD collaborated with ONE OK ROCK on an official music video for “Make It Out Alive” utilizing footage from the real-world hunting action RPG Monster Hunter Now — watch the music video HERE.

Produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance), ONE OK ROCK’s most-recent studio album Luxury Disease debuted at #1 in Japan marking the band’s fourth straight chart topping album in their home country following the blockbusters 35xxxv, AMBITIONS, and EYE OF THE STORM. Luxury Disease is highlighted by the singles “Save Yourself,” “Let Me Let You Go,” and “Vandalize,” the latter of which featured as the ending theme for SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers.

ABOUT ONE OK ROCK:
Founded in Tokyo during 2005, the quartet—Taka [vocals], Toru [guitar], Tomoya [drums], and Ryota [bass]—have unassumingly emerged as a global phenomenon and one of Japan’s hottest exports with dozens of international gold and platinum certifications and billions of streams. Beyond six consecutive Top 5 entries and three #1 debuts on the Japanese Top Albums Chart, the group’s global imprint has grown with a foothold stateside. They stand out as the rare force of nature who can tour alongside either The Smashing Pumpkins or Ed Sheeran—with whom they co-wrote ‘”Renegades” for the film Rurouni Kenshin: The Final.
