French progressive and cinematic metal collective No Terror in the Bang have just revealed a music video for a new track titled “Monster”, which is taken from the band’s second album “Heal” released on January 12th via Klonosphere Records/Season of Mist. Directed by Les Maan this new video has premiered at The Progspace and is now playing at this location: https://youtu.be/M0bNePnfnsc?si=rcVLQz9TyMb44zaK Drummer/Orchestrator Alexis Damien had this to say about this new video: “We are proud to present the video for “Monster” off our new album “Heal” and is one of the band’s most progressive and contrasting tracks. It features melodic orchestral passages and violent riffs.
The video was inspired by the original Little Red Riding Hood tale and the clip was shot in original locations in Normandy, including an old cider mill, a wasteland and a forest.” Named after an Alfred Hitchcock sentence “There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it,” No Terror in The Bang is a progressive and cinematic metal six-piece from Rouen, France, whose sound illustrates a chiaroscuro universe oscillating between fragility and fury. Recorded and mixed by Sebastien Langle and mastered by Pierrick Noel, the band’s second album is crammed with unusual musical twists and turns, and shows a more mature and heavier side of No Terror in the Bang with vocalist Sofia Bortoluzzi using her full vocal range, shifting between passionate, melodic cleans and some brutal growls.
