With a renewed fire zebrahead has been playing shows across the globe with studio sessions in-between and preparing to roll out new music well into 2023. They recently released “No Tomorrow” which Rock Sound called “raw and raucous.” On November 11 the band unleashes “Licking On A Knife For Fun” with a video to follow later this month. zebrahead is vocalist/rapper Ali Tabatabaee, vocalist/guitarist Adrian Estrella, bassist Ben Osmundson, drummer Ed Udhus, and guitarist Dan Palmer.
When asked about the song Osmundson says, “Excited for the world to hear “Licking on a Knife for Fun”! A spastic and aggressive take on self-doubt and poisonous friends……cause we all have had it happen…more than we would ever like.” Tabatabaee adds, “Licking a Knife for Fun” is about not realizing that you are in a toxic relationship with someone that is pushing you to the edge of doubting your own self-worth.”
zebrahead continues to bring their genre-bending blend of rap-core, punk-pop, and a consistently good time with the III, II. I series of EPs. There will be monthly song and video releases that culminate into the release of their II EP on February 3, 2023, the follow-up to the III EP, which was released in 2021. In late fall of 2023, I EP will be released.
zebrahead has sold over 2.5 million albums to date, and currently has over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, they have survived label changes, earned a Grammy nomination, and through it all nonstop touring ensued across the globe.
