Sunfall are an unrelenting Nu-Core band from the UK. Sunfall’s music takes many forms and embraces the full potential of the futuristic genre-blending and fluidity.
“Return To Sender” is about making a major decision that changes everything for the worse instead of for the good, begging to be back in the place or situation you were in before. To then dealing with the depression and isolation as a result of this decision. Eventually, you come to a place where you build yourself from the ground up and become unstoppable. Anyone’s negative and deflecting opinions are brushed off, and you think for yourself and what’s best for you,” comments Sunfall vocalist Sam Worsfold on the brand-new track.
“Return To Sender” is a song that documents the turmoil faced by the band vocalist Sam, as he left the band at the end of 2018 to pursue a better life for himself and his family back home in Australia for the rest of his life. The vocals were recorded while vocalist Sam was in Australia, “we have been working with him being on the other side of the world,” adds the band about the making of the song. And as Sam struggled with isolation, he fell into a depression and realised that what he truly wanted was Sunfall and made this difficult choice, leaving all behind to move across the world to return to the band in 2022.
Speaking on the announcement of the signing, Sunfall says: “It’s unreal for us to have signed to such an awesome label. Out Of Line are really one of the label’s paving the way with some of the scene’s most amazing talent. We look up to bands like ten56., Cane Hill, Being As An Ocean, and many others on the label, so to say we’ve signed to the same label is huge for us as well as humbling that they love our music enough to even consider signing us. We don’t take this lightly and will be backing up the signing with our best music. It’s a huge step in our development as a band. We’ve always had such overwhelming good responses to our music, so having a team behind us now to help get our music further out there into the world is huge.”
