THE TEX AVERY SYNDROME is a Frankfurt-based 4-piece consisting of the vocal powerhouse Laura Gierl and Nico Meister (Guitar), Christoph Kipper (Guitar) and Nico Jung (Drums). The band have borrowed their name from the legendary cartoonist Tex Avery, who created infamous characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck or Porky Pig. And just like the lunatic comics the band connects various styles of insanity, through many genres of metal. 
Crushing riffs and smashing modern breakdowns, paired with thrashing groove tendencies and mindblowing, beautiful vocals from Laura Gierl to create a vivid fresh view on metal that’s very difficult to ignore. Following the bands smash debut album ‘Origin’ in 2019 the band toured relentlessly, winning their way into the hearts of many with their full-throttle live shows and their high-tech present-day approach to the genre. After signing with Easthaven Records in 2023, THE TEX AVERY SYNDROME is now ready to take the next step and show their ability to stay true to their roots but still take a new route – one less travelled. |
