Solitary Sabred – Cypriot Heavy Metal Warlords Share Entire New Album “Temple of the Serpent”

Cypriot heavy metal warlords Solitary Sabred  will release their fourth full-length album “Temple of the Serpent”, next week on December 15th via Vinyl Store Gr, but starting today fans can listen to the full release courtesy of Decibel Magazine.

Decibel Magazine says the following about the new album “Listening to the album, it’s no surprise Solitary Sabred has shared the stage with heavy metal giants like Manilla Road, Helstar, Jag Panzer, Metal Church, and Sabaton. Down to the final clash of “Gates of Namtar,” Temple of the Serpent is a resounding and rollicking celebration of epic heavy metal.

“A king who craved for godhood bringing forth the fall of Sumerian empires. That was the historical spark of inspiration, which we put together into our own mythological tapestry. The thread, as always, was classic U.S. oriented heavy/epic metal. Metal magic from our hearts to your ears, summoning demons and unleashing the bloodlust!” Says the band about the album’s inspiration.

A concept album that chronicles a journey into the lands of demonic djinns and undead sorcerers, and where Solitary Sabred explore the fall of the Akkad Empire over ten blistering tracks of furious epic metal, the new album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Nikolas “Sprits” Moutafis at Steel Fortress Studio, Pre-orders are now available at this location.

Solitary Sabred have been an active band since the early 00’s  and have released three full-length albums to date, including their critically acclaimed second and third albums, “Redemption Through Force” and “By fire & Brimstone”, which have been repressed numerous times both on cd and vinyl.
The Cypriots have also been active on the live front, appearing alongside legends such as Omen, Manilla Road, Helstar, Jag Panzer, Vicious Rumors, Metal Church, Heir Aparent etc, as well as contemporary acts such as Sabaton, Enforcer, Three Tremors, Ashes of Ares and many more, both in Cyprus and abroad, and are currently working on a full European tour to promote “Temple of the Serpent” live early next year.
