Greek doom/stoner-rock trio Seer of the Void has recently revealed a music video for a new track titled “Electric Father”, the leading single taken from the band’s forthcoming second album “Mantra Monolith”, due out on January 27th via Venerate Industries.
Filmed and edited by Tassos Gkoletsos, the video for “Electric Father” is now playing at Invisible Oranges, who had this to say about this new single “a sinister, groovy jam, but each riff is dialed in for maximum impact and volume.”

“Electric Father is a song inspired by the dualities.” Says the band. “By the fight between the light and the dark, between the good and the bad. Questioning every type of norm that guides the modern way of life and how this reflects to the subconscious of the human nature.”
The trip Seer of The Void took into the world of smoke-n-guttered doom metal was initiated in the year 2019 A.D. Harnessing the starting fire any new band has vast amounts of, they released “Venom Black” as their first single in the same year. Soon more tracks took shape and form, making “Revenant” the band’s debut album released in 2020, a solid body of work that raised a number of eyebrows in the doom/stoner community.
“Sign of the Wolf” was the next single out of that album, while the pandemic deprived them of the opportunity to properly present their artistic vision at its natural habitat, the dark and mouldered stages of the world. Making the best out of the circumstance, Seer of The Void managed to do a few shows alongside Acid Mammoth and Bus, The Unknown Secretary, while they continued working on new music.
By the time 2022 was there, a whole new album was prepared, and Venerate Industries was more than happy to step in and sign the band for the release of the album. Recorded, mixed and mastered by S_FX at Ritual Studios in Athens, Greece “Mantra Monolith” is now a reality, presenting the band in its creative peak, ready to take on the world. Pre-orders are now available here.
