Scandroid is back with jumping into the darker side of synthwave with an ominous industrial synthwave crossover “Shadow Of The Drones.” Mechanized rhythms form an overall menacing atmosphere as the track races towards a dark conclusion. Composed using synthesizers and drums, and pulling in elements from Electronic, IDM, Industrial, and Synthwave “Shadow Of The Drones” is a fast paced instrumental intricately pieced together to form a the soundtrack for any daring escape.
The synthwave project of Los Angeles-based artist and producer Klayton, Scandroid is a love letter to the ‘80s delivered with modern production and a genre-crossing set of influences. Best known for his work on the multifaceted project Celldweller, Klayton has found a new inspiration for his densely layered compositions by combining ‘80s pop sensibilities with a host of other creative ideas, ranging from classic darkwave to modern electronic music.
