South African rock sensation Keanan Eksteen is excited to announce the upcoming release of his highly anticipated debut full-length album, accompanied by an exciting European tour. Titled Golden Fever, the album promises to captivate audiences with its dynamic rock sound and introspective lyrics, showcasing Eksteen’s immense talent and musical artistry.
Hailing from the vibrant South African music scene, Keanan Eksteen has been making waves with his electrifying performances and infectious energy. Produced by Jeremy Farber (who also handles Drums, keys, bass, additional guitar and backing vocals on the album) from For Tomorrow Studios, Golden Fever showcases Keanan Eksteen’s songwriting prowess and emotive vocal range. Each track takes listeners on a journey through relatable themes of love, self-discovery, and the human experience, infused with powerful guitar-driven melodies and anthemic hooks that linger in the mind.

Following the release of the album Keanan Eksteen will embark on a highly anticipated European tour, bringing his energetic live performances and charismatic stage presence to audiences across the continent. The month-long tour will run from July to August and span multiple cities and include both headline shows and festival appearances, creating an unforgettable experience for fans and music enthusiasts. About Keanan Eksteen
Keanan Eksteen is a 22-year-old South African singer/songwriter that has recently burst onto the scene with his toe tapping, hip shaking, exciting tunes making waves across the country. He is young, energetic and his brand of music blends old school rock ‘n roll with a twist of the new to keep things fresh.
“Dixie Clouds”, is his first single released on the 19th of March 2022 and has already been streamed almost 100 000 times on Spotify. The song is play-listed on 17 Radio stations across South Africa, and it reached the number one position on the Laeveld radio chart. The music video for Dixie Clouds hit over 410 000 views within 8 months of release and it is also playlisted on KykNet, a national TV channel.
On the 22nd of July 2022 a 6 track EP called “FOREVER” was released and shortly thereafter Keanan completed a 13 stop, one month tour of Europe to promote the EP with shows in Germany, France and Austria.
Keanan has played shows at various venues in Cape Town, with many more lined up. He has also appeared on the Expresso show, which is a national morning TV show broadcast to millions of viewers and more recently he sang with Goldfish at Kirstenbosch to debut “Sing with me” a song that he co-wrote with them. “Sing with me” was released globally on the 10th of February 2023.
Keanan’s debut full length album “Golden Fever” is set to be released on the 8th July 2023, with upbeat popping tunes like “Maze Of Me” to the soulful piano based ballad like “Fall Down”, the album is said to have something for everyone.
