Psython get horny in new single

Sheffield Metalheads, Psython are back (well sort of). They are releasing new music. Written in 2019 but never recorded, as the world emerged from lockdown hilarity, Psython decided to record and release their fourth album. 10 new songs will be released online over the next year, a track at a time. Psython want to give this offering a good send off… and hopefully bring a few mucky gurns to the faces of our Metal Siblings.

In a move that sees the band risking cancellation, they have said: “DTF (Desiring Thorough Fornication) argues that being horny is not, in fact, evil. And as the late T. Turner pointed out; what has love got to do with it?”

Reining in the pace on this one, Psython rely on driving, Glam rock-vibe chugs of riffs to get the message over, with barking vocals slipping into buffed layers of stacked harmonies. Restrained, but defiant.

Psython formed in 2014. A thrash-based metal band from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK. Up to 2020 they put out 3 albums, an EP and did close to 100 shows.  “…Outputs” (2016), “H.A.T.R.E.D.” (2017) and “Last Days of the Good Times” (2018), and the “#REYTMETAL/NWOBHM” EP (2019).
