Maggie Rogers is excited to announce two new intimate shows at Hackney Empire for later this year. It will be her first headline dates in the capital since selling out Alexandra Palace back in November 2022.
Fans can gain early access to tickets for the shows by pre-ordering Maggie’s new album before 6pm BST on 2nd April, with tickets hitting general sale from 10am on Friday 5th April.
The dates will follow a spate of stadium support shows with Coldplay across Europe in August.
Maggie Rogers’ third album, Don’t Forget Me, is released on 12th April through Polydor Records, and has been previewed by two tracks to date, “Don’t Forget Me” and “So Sick Of Dreaming”
Maggie co-produced Don’t Forget Me with Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, writing eight of its 10 songs with him and penning two alone. Shawn Everett (Brittany Howard, The War on Drugs) mixed.
“I wanted to make an album that sounded like a Sunday afternoon,” explains Rogers. “Worn in denim. A drive in your favorite car. No make-up, but the right amount of lipstick. Something classic. The mohair throw and bottle of Whiskey in Joan Didion’s motel room. An old corvette. Vintage, but not overly Americana. I wanted to make an album to belt at full volume alone in your car, a trusted friend who could ride shotgun and be there when you needed her.”
