Luke Morley Shares Video from his Universally Acclaimed Album

Luke Morley premieres his brand-new video to ‘I’m The One You Want’ from his recently released solo album ‘Songs From The Blue Room’. The album has achieved chart success landing #1 in the Official Indie Breaker Albums charts and critics have lined up to sing its praises.

“When it comes to the subjective craft of songwriting, few do it better and ‘Songs From The Blue Room’ is a kaleidoscopic case in point,” reckoned Rushonrock, awarding it Record of the Week.

“’Songs From The Blue Room’ is an absolute masterpiece,” agreed Rockposer.

Of all the tracks on the album, ‘I’m The One You Want’ will sound the most familiar to fans of Luke’s decades of success with Thunder.

Luke himself says “This song is probably the closest I get to my day job with Thunder! It’s the bluesiest track on the album and hopefully it reflects my love of Southern rock bands like Little Feat and The Black Crowes. This was great fun to record and I think that comes across on the track.”

The video captures Luke in studio and it allows his talents as a vocalist, as well as his acknowledged talents and songwriter and of course as a renowned guitarist, to come to the fore.

“I’m really pleased with the reaction to the album” says Luke “The critical response has been amazing, particularly in some quarters where I wasn’t expecting it at all! It’s good to surprise people and challenge their perceptions a little bit so let’s hope people keep listening with open minds.’”

Luke Morley is one of this country’s finest and most consistent songwriters. Albums like this can only cement that reputation further,” said MNPR Magazine
