“Louis’ original demo of this song had most of the elements there already except for the main line ‘I’m waiting for the big reveal.’ We started looking at the lyrics and realised it had this weird theatrical feel to it, so we pushed it harder into this world.

We discovered an old play by Moliere which translates to ‘The Imposter; or The Hypocrite’ which just felt way too fitting so that’s where we got this title for the song.
