Following the heavy yet lush lead single “When I Meet God”, today Life’s Question shows another side to them with “Brass Coffin.” The track has a true hard rock influence, channeling bands like Faith No More and Leeway. Blazing guitar riffs trickle off into electrifying solos, Josh Haynes’ vocals expand past the typical hardcore delivery to stadium sized wails. It’s a testament to the band’s ability to be varied in sound while never sacrificing being true to themselves. The accompanying video for the song was directed and produced by Connor Hargreaves, following one man’s journey paired with a rockin’ performance from the band. You can watch it HERE and stream “Brass Coffin” HERE.

Both singles stem from the upcoming EP, Life’s Question, set for release April 19th on Flatspot Records. Following their 2022 full-length World Full Of…, the band showcase a knack for melody while also giving a tough as nails delivery throughout the six songs. With producer Jon Markson (Regulate, Jivebomb) at the helm, the entire EP comes through as a seamless yet diverse listen.

Spending much of their career on the road, Life’s Question has toured with Drain, One Step Closer, Pain Of Truth, Regulate, and Higher Power. The band’s unrelenting drive and creativity has earned them praise from Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, and No Echo. As Life’s Question heads into the release of their new EP, the band is looking towards a bright and busy future in hardcore and beyond.

Life’s Question is Josh Haynes (vocals), Abby Rhine (guitar/vocals), Ridge Rhine (guitar), AJ Hoenings (bass), and Nick Barker (drums).
