This year’s British MotoGP has announced a spectacular music line-up to provide unrivalled off-track entertainment

UK – 16:01, 16 February 2023: Today, Silverstone is excited to announce that Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and Chase & Status will play at this year’s British round of the MotoGP Championship from 4-6 August.

From UK No.1 hits ‘Ruby’ and ‘I Predict a Riot’ to the more recent 2019 gems in ‘Record Collection’ and ‘Golden Oldies’, multi BRIT award winning indie-rock outfit Kaiser Chiefs are set to headline on Saturday 5 August, bringing their acclaimed catalogue to MotoGP fans for an evening to remember.

British indie band Razorlight will then take to the main stage on Sunday 6 August with a return to the band’s original line-up. Following the release of their latest album ‘Razorwhat? The Best of Razorlight’ at the end of 2022, the set will include fan favourites as well as thrilling new tracks.

Fresh from playing mammoth shows in Croatia and Czech Republic, electronic pioneers Chase & Status will kick-start the weekend with a DJ set on Friday 4 August. The London-based duo have been festival favourites for over 20 years and will be performing their anthemic bangers for MotoGP fans.

Silverstone is a year-round, progressive venue that brings sport and music together in a unique way and, while the very best of historic motorsport remains Silverstone’s heartbeat, live music is also central to the unrivalled off-track entertainment on offer.

The Monster Energy British Grand Prix MotoGP is the only chance for fans to see their MotoGP  heroes race on British soil and this year, for the first time, will feature a Saturday Sprint race in  addition to the main race on Sunday. The MotoGP championship races are supported by Moto2  and Moto3 action and, in another first for Britain, MotoE, the electric bike championship. Young  home-grown talent will also be showcased in the blue-riband round of the British Talent Cup.

Tickets for the Monster Energy British Grand Prix MotoGP are on sale here from just £25 (Friday), £45 (Saturday) and £85 (Sunday). Three-day weekend tickets are also available from £100. Admission includes access to general admission viewing areas, entertainment zones, concerts and  roving access to selected grandstands. Children under 11 go free and children under 16 are half price.
