The new single ‘Ready Now’, from Rebekah Fitch, is a mission statement. A song of determination, resilience and being sure of your purpose. It gives you the words you need to rise up when you’ve been knocked down. Chilling chorus vocals, chanting over pounding drums – this is the sound of unwavering focus, a battlecry to one’s own mind.

“I needed to write something that was like my own manifesto, my vision statement. Every artist has their doubts and their moments of wondering, “Is this really what I should be doing? Is it worth it?” We need to be prepared for those moments, with the truth that we know the reason why we do what we do – the reason we keeping going to overcome the fear, the rejection, the uncertainty. This song was my way of fighting back against those moments.”

Rebekah’s most recent single was played on BBC Radio 1, and playlisted on stations such as Cool FM, Q Radio and iRadio. Rebekah was included in Hot Press and The Thin Airs 2019 Watch Lists, along with being nominated for Best Emerging Act in the Northern Irish Music Prize. Another single and an EP will follow this release.

READY NOW’ is available everywhere from 11 NOV 2022.
