October 13, 2023—Grammy-winning artist Madison Cunningham debuts her new song, ‘Subtitles’. Of the song, Cunningham details, “‘Subtitles’ is set at the end of the world where there’s this impending disaster that is quickly approaching, and everyone has been warned, yet the people below still bobble around going on and on bickering about human things, misunderstanding each other. It’s poking at the scale of how significant and insignificant everything is. And despite the real elemental forces at work that are beyond our control, we can still be our own means of destruction in our own little worlds.

Listen to ‘Subtitles; here and watch the accompanying visualizer here.

Currently, Cunningham is serving as direct support for the entirety of Hozier’s U.S. tour, which kicked off last month with upcoming stops at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl and more. In addition, Cunningham is set to support John Mayer on his spring 2024 E.U./U.K. solo run, which includes two nights at The O2, London.

‘Subtitles’ follows the release of the digital deluxe edition of Cunningham’s Grammy-award winning album, Revealer — listen HERE. The deluxe edition features “Hospital (One Man Down),” her recent collaboration with singer- songwriter and producer Remi Wolf, as well as previously unreleased songs “Death By Suspicion” and “Inventing The Wheel”.

Revealer was released last year to widespread critical acclaim and took home the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album at the 65th Annual ceremony. Watch Cunningham perform “Life According to Raechel” from the album during the premiere ceremony HERE.

Revealer marks Cunningham’s first Grammy win and fourth nomination overall, having also been nominated for Best American Roots Performance for “Life According To Raechel,” as well as Best Folk Album for Wednesday (Extended Edition) in 2021 and Best Americana Album for Who Are You Now in 2020.
