Although they emerged on the scene in 2014, today, Tampa, Florida based band Nevertel are thrilled to announce their first-ever record deal by signing to Epitaph Records.  Backed by a vigorous DIY work ethic and a hearty discography of self-released music, the quartet currently sustains over 500K monthly streams on Spotify alone. Commenting on the newfound partnership, the band reveals:

It’s honestly no secret we’ve enjoyed being independent, but when Epitaph came into the picture it felt like we clicked on so many things. We share a passion for the same goals and ideas, and their trust and faith in us to do our thing is truly invaluable to us.

In celebration of today’s news, Nevertel add another entry to their impressive collection with the haunting music video for their single “Sacrifice,” mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore) and mastered by Ted Jensen (Korn, Bring Me The Horizon). Possessing a dark and eerie vibe supplied by atmospheric production and industrial sonics, the band pairs trap beats with a punishing metalcore breakdown for a high-impact effect.

On the song’s compelling lyricism the band explains: “ “Sacrifice” is about the emotional turmoil and pressure you can feel when you need to make sacrifices for the things you love. That message plays into the video which visually represents us sacrificing ourselves to the thing we love, letting it take us in the end.”

Leading with an emphasis on quality in everything they do, Nevertel – Jeremy Michael (vocalist), Raul Lopez (rapper/guitarist/producer), Alec Davis (guitarist), and Joshua Barter (drummer) – have honed a distinctly modern genre-blending sound that fuses elements of hip-hop, nu-metal and alternative rock. Touting influences from established acts such as Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon, the group draws in listeners with riveting melodic choruses, hip-hop infused verses and bombastic EDM-style breakdowns.

With two albums, two EPs, and a slew of singles out in the world, Nevertel has racked up over 30 million streams to date while fostering an online community of over 500K social media followers.  A testament of their dedication to their craft and commitment to their fans, the band has performed at festivals like Welcome To Rockville, seen radio support from SiriusXM and earned DSP recognition with a placement on Spotify’s All New Metal playlist.
