FiXT is proud to present FiXT Noir: Signals, the label’s second EDM compilation now available for pre-order and fully releases on July 11. Signals features 30 tracks from over 45 contributing artists, vocalists, and remixers spanning the sounds of drum & bass, dubstep, metal, synthwave, cyberpunk, midtempo, pop-inspired EDM, and beyond.

Releasing with the announcement is “World Away” (feat. Ashley Apollodor). The upbeat dance track is bright and airy piece fusing Dance, Dance Pop, Dubstep, and Future Bass into a glorious energetic piece. Ashley Apollodor’s ethereal vocals fold over the pulsing rhythms and complex synthesizers.
“On the lyrical end, ‘World Away’ is about feeling left alone in a dark place so far from the people you feel closest to and wishing for another to join you in the shadows & maybe in the end, lift you into the light,” explains Beatcore. “The balance of uplifting chords mixed with the heavy, monotone parts of the drop resemble the struggle and fight as well as the glimmer of hope that makes it all worth it.”

Xaver Beat Scheickl, better known as Beatcore is an Austrian bass music DJ/Producer based in Florida. He is known for his mixture between heavy/melodic Dubstep as well as his countless collaborations with his wife Ashley Apollodor who is a singer, songwriter and producer. Together they gained a lot of attention in the scene by continuously trying to perfect the balance of melody and bass sounds. Support from some of the scenes most influential artists, as well as label releases with Circus Records, Lowly, MA Music, NCS, Rushdown and many more, as well as headlining shows in Europe, Asia and North America show the impact he has had on the EDM world so far. At the age of 15, he first came in touch with several music programs and attended a music school in Vienna, where he later graduated in Ensemble, Audio Engineering and Piano. Shortly after, he released his first successful songs and started getting recognized by more and more artists, labels and promoters. In 2019 he started playing shows internationally and his songs gained momentum quickly. After his recent move to the United States he got the opportunity to play some of the scenes best venues like the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis and The Vanguard in Orlando supporting acts like MitiS, Au5, Crystal Skies, Chime and more.
Ashley Apollodor is a singer/songwriter and producer located in Florida, USA. She has written, recorded and released well over 100 original pieces. She works with many artists all over the world to spread light, love and emotion into the hearts of many. Showing herself in the raw helps her grow as an artist and as a person. She fights for light and strength in others and she won’t give up her passion for anything.
