The Stereophonics frontman’s new project, Far From Saints, is something completely different–and it’s breathtaking. – SPIN Together, the trio knows no bounds, something that’s evident on Far From Saints, a 10-track mediation on life and love that comes alive in shades of country, rock, folk, soul, and Americana. – American Songwriter (4 out of 5 stars) “The woven harmonies by Stereophonics’ Kelly Jones and Patty Lynn make this striking, country-tinged duet all the more pretty.” – NYLON One of the big draws of the afternoon was Far From Saints…they held the crowd with an instant chemistry. – The Line of Best Fit (on Performance at Black Deer Festival) We’re late in the game of rock music innovation yet there are hints that a new generation (some of them) get it. These people (Far From Saints) get it, decorate it & make it their own in an impressive way… All of their melodies have a traditional delicacy that makes for a delicious listen. – Americana Highways “The three-piece channel iconic ’70s bands Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac.” – NME “Far From Saints is the supergroup bringing genre diversity to the world of rock.” – Hunger “It’s the combination of Lynn and Jones’s voices that stands out here: gorgeous tune, beautiful harmonies, great tone and texture and emotional delivery.” – Americana UK |

Far From Saints – the collaborative project between Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) and Patty Lynn & Dwight Baker (The Wind and The Wave) – self-titled debut album just came out last Friday, June 16th, via Ignition Records – listen HERE! The LP was written and produced by Far From Saints and mixed by the Grammy-nominated Al Clay (Blur, Pixies). Far From Saints vibrates with intensity, anchored by Kelly and Patty’s striking vocals and Dwight’s crisp guitar style. It’s a set which very naturally blends different influences from its three creators, drawing upon Kelly’s long desire to make a Nashville influence country rock record; Patty’s love of indie rock and ‘90s country music; and Dwight’s passion for Southern and hard rock. |
Far From Saints is currently touring the UK and EU where they’ve been special guests of Kings of Leon and Paul Weller, with shows coming up with Hozier, Incubus, and Tom Jones. They are also confirmed for Glastonbury and Latitude festivals. Confirmed Far From Saints Tour Dates |
