| SCRANTON, PA – May 26, 2023 – Northeast Pennsylvania alt-rock outfit Esta Coda has unveiled the music video for their brand new single, “Happenstance,” lifted from their forthcoming album that they’re currently recording. “Happenstance” continues the band’s melodic sensibilities but is a sonic turn from previous releases, combining upbeat rhythms and a juxtaposition of chimney and fuzzed guitars. In addition, the band has announced summer tour dates including Philadelphia, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. “‘Happenstance’ is about our tendency to draw conclusions prematurely, assuming things happen for a reason rather than just accepting life is sometimes chaotic,” explains vocalist and guitarist Jay Preston. “In the video, we play the role of helpless seafarers, finding ourselves in precarious situations.” |
