Scotlands Dead Pony have had a huge year leading into their debut album release next year. They have played some of the best festivals, turning heads with their utterly brilliant live show and obtained critical acclaim along the way. Currently on tour around Europe the band have today released a very fun cover of “Maneater” and put their spin on it. “We choose Maneater as a cover because we started listening to a lot of music that we used to listen to when we were a lot younger. Maneater was always one of those iconic songs and I remember thinking it was so cool and fun. At the time we recorded it we were listening to a lot of early 00’s music like N.E.R.D, Justin Timberlake & Limp Bizkit so we took a lot of influence from those sounds. I think it’s a lot of fun to totally reimagine a track but make it sound like Dead Pony” says the band. Dead Pony’s sonic aggression is matched only by a no-nonsense attitude and infectious battle ready choruses which has seen them captivate crowds this summer at Glastonbury, The Great Escape, TRNSMT and supporting Twin Atlantic. Dead Pony have written, recorded, produced and mixed their debut EP themselves back home in Glasgow. The only way to capture the true spirit of what this band is. War Boys EP tracklisting:
