Today, (8th September 2023) alternative band DAYTIME TV have released their new single  ‘Block Out The Noise’ on Kartel Music Group.  Produced by Ross Hamilton, the track pulses with infectious stomp, culminating into a brilliantly anthemic chorus made for live shows. Listen to ‘Block Out The Noise’ here. Watch the video here.

“This is our anthem for drowning out the chaos”, comments vocalist Will Irvine on the track, “It’s about choosing your own path and not letting negative influences control your life. We live in such a loud world with constant information overload, it’s hard to focus on the things that make you who you are. It’s a song for everyone trying to rise above the voices that say ‘you can’t’  or ‘you’re not good enough”.

‘Block Out The Noise’ lands ahead of DAYTIME TV’s first European headline tour this month, followed by a UK run in October. It follows previous single ‘jessica’ which landed support from BBC Radio 1, Q Radio, Amazing Radio, Kerrang!, idobi, plus more.

With roots in Scotland and London, 2022 saw the release of DAYTIME TV’s debut album nothing’s on but everyone’s watching. Recorded with GRAMMY®-nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Twin Atlantic, Lower Than Atlantis), the LP gave DAYTIME TV the opportunity to take their sound to new heights,  boasting an incredible fusion of gargantuan alt-rock with undeniably contagious and feel good choruses. The record gathered support and accolades from BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio, Kerrang! Radio, Rock Sound, DORK, The Scotsman & more.

2023 so far has taken DAYTIME TV to Europe for a support run with Blue October, alongside UK shows with Circa Waves, Kaiser Chiefs, The View, and a handful of festivals including a slot on the main stage at Kendal Calling. Other achievements include sharing stages with Two Door Cinema Club, Pearl Jam, The Wombats and The Amazons, plus TRNSMT, Mad Cool and Y Not Festival.
