On the new single, vocalist Tom Lumley comments:
“‘Spike’ is an anthem situated in the midst of a relationship spiralling out of control in the wrong direction. It’s a calling to those having the same disagreements time and time again, when all they are trying to do is help someone in need. Spike poses the questions of how far we can push ourselves in this situation and whether it’s better to hold your tongue or repeat the same argument once again. Will this hold together? Only time will tell.”

On the announce of the EP, the band continue:
Will This Hold Together? is an EP that feels very fitting not just for ourselves as a band, and as individuals, but also to the current circumstances the world feels to be in right now. For us it sums up our situations over the last few years. We feel a lot of people will be able to relate to these songs and the general feeling that everything is on the brink of falling to pieces. We had the opportunity of working with Adrian Bushby (Foo FightersMuse) on the EP and we’re so happy with how the songs have come together. The raw energy we managed to obtain in the recordings really resembles the hard truths within the meaning of the songs themselves.”

Brave Liaison will also be hitting up the UK in October for two headline dates:

October 2023
06.10 – 33 Oldham Street, Manchester
13.10 – The Water Rats, London

The bands anthemic sound and high-powered live show has seen them play some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals including Isle of Wight, Camden Rocks and Truck Festival. As the band go from strength to strength, it’s no surprise they’re picking up new fans everywhere they go and continue to build their unstoppable momentum. With sold out tour dates up and down the country last year, including their debut London headline show and their biggest hometown show to date at Cambridge’s J2, it’s no surprise Brave Liaison have been tipped by Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Radio X, and Kerrang! for big things.

Having been tipped by Huw Stephens on Radio 1 as ‘Ones To Watch 2020’ following a raucous live session at the renowned Maida Vale Studios, the band have since released their debut album Everything’s Affected which reached #9 in the Official UK Rock & Metal Album Chart amongst other charting success. They’ve played an array of sold out live shows across the UK and have also toured Europe supporting Finnish rock royalty Poets of The Fall.
