London 2 piece BOB VYLAN today (July 21st) release a brand new single, an anthem in the making, ‘Dream Big’, their first new material since their single ‘The Delicate Nature’ from 2022. This new single follows on from last years 100% independent, Top 20 charting, Kerrang! Magazine, VIVE LE ROCK and MOBO Award-winning album ‘Bob Vylan Presents: The Price Of Life’, ‘Dream Big’ was written with a sense of the younger self, serving as an empowering tribute to loved ones which include Bobby Vylan’s daughter, nieces and nephews and even see’s them enlisted on backing vocal duty in the chorus. “As I see them growing and finding things they’re passionate about, it reminds me how important it is to continue having those childlike dreams of what we can accomplish in our lives.” says Bobby Vylan. He continues “Growing up, dreaming of making some kind of positive change in the world or doing something you love wasn’t presented as a realistic option. Working class people are often too focused on getting by to have the luxury of “dreaming big”, fortunately, I was delusional. And we want to encourage that “delusional” belief in oneself to accomplish whatever they want to in this world.” “We want to inspire people to achieve what they truly wish to achieve. We come from places and lifestyles that don’t encourage that. At a very young age, my path was thought to be set out for me. The school-to-prison pipeline that people talk about was something I was travelling through. I’m just fortunate that I was able to find another exit before I reached the other side of that pipeline. The pair will also be heading out later this year on a full UK and Ireland headline tour, which will see them take in 13 cities across the UK and Ireland with friends Kid Bookie, Panic Shack and Meryl Streek at select dates. Preceding that run, they will also be touring across Europe supporting Grandson through October, This Summer has seen them dominating stages at festivals like Download, 2000trees, Nova Rock and TRNSMT so far. ABOUT BOB VYLANLondon two-piece BOB VYLAN are unique. One vocalist (Bobby) and one drummer (Bobbie). One being a vital and focal mouthpiece, the other a rhythm maker and keeper, one audience ringleader, one master of the calm. They are a band that embraces both chaos and peace, a band that thrives on independence and creating their own path, a band known for mosh pits and pit hugs. They have a unique and ever evolving sound, one that crosses styles and genres, doing away with the traditional and embracing new and more unique sonic dimensions. They incorporate these styles within their music in an attempt to bridge and blend genres and subcultures together.
