BEABADOOBEE has shared her new single Ever Seen, the third release from her forthcoming studio album This Is How Tomorrow Moves, out on 16 August via Dirty Hit. The single comes with a video shot in Japan by Jake Erland. Watch the video for ‘Everseen’
Ever Seen was written on the road during her time on tour with Taylor Swift and was originally intended to be a pure country song until it developed into something more soaring and euphoric with zig-zagging strings and pummeling percussion. For Bea, this captures the feelings of going to Glastonbury – the elation, the thudding of drums drifting over the wind, the endless chaotic possibilities.

2024 also sees Beabadoobee tour across the US and the UK. In August she opens for Mitski at All Points East festival in London and headlines the BBC Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds before heading to North America for an extensive tour. This Is How Tomorrow Moves stands as a testament to Bea’s artistic evolution and resilience, marking a significant milestone in her career. It captures a journey through confidence and introspection, with themes of self-acceptance and personal growth woven throughout; in parts a love letter to her younger self and all that she’s been through.
Talking about the album, she is comfortable in taking the reins of this next stage of her life: “I love this album,” she says simply, “I feel like it’s helped me so much more than anything else has in navigating this new era, this new understanding of where I’m at. I guess it’s about becoming a woman.”
“I think I’m more aware of my actions in these songs,” she adds. “In my previous records, I would consistently sing about my reaction towards other people’s doings, like a blame game. But in this record, it’s an acceptance that there’s an inevitability of my fault in there too. Whether it’s childhood trauma or relationship issues, it takes two to tango in everything.”
