Metalcore five piece ANOTHER NOW’s brand new album ‘HEX’ is out now. HEX, which was mastered by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Void of Vision, Daybreak, Polaris) features singles WOULD IT KILL YOU?, BREATHE, DOUBT and SMILE!.

Speaking about the new album vocalist Stef Rikken said “The record delves into the unpredictable experiences as individuals within the band. One moment, we’re riding high, feeling on top of the world, and in the blink of an eye, self-doubt and anger creeps in. Within the band, we developed a powerful vision and drive to navigate through the most challenging times. This record symbolises the liberation from the curse and the rediscovery of the fire within ourselves.’’

Stef also added about single ‘DOUBT’, “This track is the light in our dark tunnel. Misfortune caused us to unconsciously develop a more negative mindset. ‘DOUBT’ tells a story about the moment we realised we had to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and return to our positive identity. Within the band, we developed a powerful vision and drive to get through the toughest times. This single symbolises the rediscovery of the fire within ourselves and the determination to fight back by delivering a knockout blow.”
‘HEX’ follows up the band’s debut album ‘OMNI’. The roots of this album go back to the end of 2019 when they first drafted a couple of songs in the studio. During the lockdowns the band was experimenting with electronic elements from various musical styles and it formed the base for the sound of the album.
‘OMNI’ was well received in the metal community and was mentioned by platforms such as Rock Sound, KERRANG! Magazine and Spotify’s ‘New Core’, ‘New Metal Tracks’, and ‘New Blood’ editorial playlists.

The band’s previous releases and energetic live performance resulted in playing support shows for acts such as Beartooth (Dynamo, Eindhoven), Asking Alexandria (TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht), Ice Nine Kills (Melkweg, Amsterdam), For I Am King during their album release tour and a pre-show for Metallica during their M72 World Tour. The band performed at festivals such as Jera On Air, Submit Fest and Vest Rock.
Previously Another Now released their debut album OMNI (2021), which received support from platforms such as Rock Sound, KERRANG! Magazine, Metal Hammer UK, SiriusXM, Wackenradio, Rhino Radio and Spotify’s editorial playlists ‘New Core’, ‘New Metal Tracks’ and ‘New Blood’. With OMNI, the band put their mark by tying together its themes and concepts with mental health, a subject close to the heart of Vocalist Stef Rikken, working as a social worker in mental health care.
