Adam Shoenfeld Wears His Heart on His Sleeve on ‘Breadcrumbs of Hope’
ADAM SHOENFELD WEARS HIS HEART ON HIS SLEEVE ON NEW SONG, ‘BREADCRUMBS OF HOPE’
Multi-#1 Guitarist & Songwriter For Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and More Shares The First New Solo Music Since 2022’s All The Birds Sing
NASHVILLE, TN. / LONDON, U.K. – (September 8, 2023) – The ACM-nominated guitarist behind almost fifty US #1 hit songs, Adam Shoenfeld, returns today with an optimistic new solo track, ‘Breadcrumbs of Hope’, available to stream/download worldwide now.
On the release of his first new music since last year’s 10-track album All The Birds Sing, Shoenfeld shared, “I have hope that there is still enough good and love in this world to conquer the evil and hatred we’ve seen in recent years. The ones that fuel division are the problem. We are constantly bombarded with the bad, but we have to stay strong and have each other’s backs… bombard the bad with the good. We have to find the glimmers of hope, those ‘breadcrumbs’. There is a trail of peace, love, and harmony that can exist and hopefully, one day, bring people together. That’s what ‘Breadcrumbs of Hope’ means to me.”
Co-writer Michael Hunter Ochs added, “When we talk about hope often we are looked at as naive or idealistic. This song is here to say… hope is real and it is everything. And with the simplest of gestures anyone – you, me, a nameless stranger on the street – can be that tiny spark of hope that could make a difference in someone’s life.”
Shoenfeld continues to collaborate with his family, with his daughters joining him on backing vocals, and wife Katie Cook serving as the track’s producer.
Since holding a guitar at 4 years old, and writing his first song at 14, music has always been central to Adam Shoenfeld’s life. Influenced by a broad range of artists from Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to Metallica and Muddy Waters, he made the move from New Jersey to Nashville to play in a rock band at the age of 19, before long being brought into one of Nashville’s top studios as a house musician.
In the years since, he’s played on over 500 albums, including over 45 #1 hit singles, for artists like Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson and Dan + Shay, and his songwriting credits include Faith Hill’s #1 ‘Mississippi Girl’. While he’s still in high demand as a touring and studio guitarist for some of the world’s best-known performers, he has increasingly felt driven to explore a new chapter as an artist with his own voice, and his own songs: “Saying something important, touching someone else’s heart with my words, that’s what drives me.”
ABOUT ADAM SHOENFELD:
Seven-time Academy of Country of Music Guitarist of the Year nominee Adam Shoenfeld remains one of Nashville’s most trusted studio musicians – having recorded with Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Dolly Parton, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line, to name a few – balancing his session work with his role as a member of McGraw’s touring band. The multi-instrumentalist also finds time to produce up-and-coming artists, like Todd Cameron and Mark Mackay.
Additionally, he continues to blaze his own trail as a thoughtful and meaningful artist. Shoenfeld’s 2022 debut solo release All the Birds Sing, produced by Katie Cook, was an unashamed, evocative, and broad musical look at his love of family and friends. It’s not a surprise that the next chapter from this big hearted songwriter would be a deep yet simple expression of his love and compassion for the world.
