Speaking on the new EP, lead vocalist Robert James shares: “The Future of Fate follows a general theme of recognizing timelines, where we been and where we’re going from here. It looks at the people in your life along the way and how they change & morph. There can be a lot of both hope & anxiety surrounding that, and that’s something we’re exploring throughout the new album.”

Combining influences ranging the width and breadth of alternative rock, New York/New Jersey trio Cult Classic deliver driving rock tones, set against the backdrop of 90s influenced melodic punk.

Signing to Manic Kat Records for the release of debut EP, Resistance in 2017, Cult Classic impressed at the first time of asking. The rookie record was a politically charged collection, with a moreish interplay of melody and grit as the band wore their heart on their collective sleeve.

Now back with their first new material in 7 years, The Future of Fate is a contemplative look at the passage of time, and embracing the highs and lows of life, and the people along the way.

The Future of Fate is out now, on Manic Kat Records.
