NATHAN EVANS AND THE SAINT PHNX BAND RELEASE STIRRING NEW SINGLE ‘MILARROCHY BAY’

Performing a Sold-Out OVO Hydro Arena Show in Glasgow Next Saturday (Oct. 25)

Awarded ‘Artist of the Year’ at the Scottish Music Awards earlier this month

LONDON, UK – Scottish music collective Nathan Evans and The SAINT PHNX Band unveil their brand-new single ‘Milarrochy Bay’ today (Oct. 17) – a soaring, heartfelt track inspired by the beauty and emotion of home.

Named after the tranquil spot on the shores of Loch Lomond, ‘Milarrochy Bay’ captures a deeply Scottish sense of place and belonging. Combining Nathan Evans’ rich, evocative vocals with the anthemic energy and cinematic sound of SAINT PHNX, the song delivers a sound that feels both intimate and expansive – a modern folk-pop anthem rooted in authenticity.

“‘Milarrochy Bay’ is an upbeat track about returning to where you feel grounded – a place that gives you peace and reminds you who you are,” says Evans. “Recording this with SAINT PHNX felt like everything coming full circle. It’s a song that everyone can relate to.”

Following the success of ‘Heather On The Hill’ – a UK Top 40 single that has surpassed 100 million streams globally – Nathan Evans and The Saint PHNX Band have continued to rise as one of the UK’s most exciting folk/pop acts. Their recent UK and European tour sold over 25,000 tickets, with shows celebrated for their energy, musicianship and connection with fans. These milestones mark the foundation of a breakthrough year, setting the stage for their new era of music and live performances.

The single follows their take on a timeless classic – ‘Cotton Eye Joe’ last month and marks a milestone moment for the band, who are celebrating with a sold-out show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena next weekend (Oct. 25) – their biggest headline performance to date. The concert symbolises not just their rapid rise, but their shared commitment to creating music that connects with audiences across Scotland and beyond.

Commenting on the track, SAINT PHNX (Alan and Stevie Jukes) shared, “Working together has been incredible. We wanted to capture the heart of Scotland – the landscape, the emotion, the pride – and ‘Milarrochy Bay’ does exactly that.”

In just 11 days, the first teaser for ‘Milarrochy Bay’ has racked up 1.4 million TikTok views, been used in 500+ fan-created videos, and gained over 500K views on Instagram – a reflection of how the track is already resonating with listeners. With its sweeping melodies, layered harmonies, and cinematic production, ‘Milarrochy Bay’ stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the storytelling tradition that defines Scottish music.
