Birmingham-based powerhouse Nameless returns with their latest single, Pacify and Reason, a brand new track that pushes the boundaries of modern music as we know it by blending the raw and aggressive energy of NU-Metal, the atmospheric depth of Shoegaze, and the visceral impact of Hardcore. Nameless continues to carve their unique path, delivering a sound that is as emotionally charged as it is genre-defying. Pacify and Reason will be released on Friday 30th August 2024.

Pacify and Reason dives deep into themes of self-perception and the internal battles between outward appearance and the inner turmoil that often remains hidden. Speaking on the track, the band explains, “The song reflects the pain and struggle of living with negative self-perception and the challenge of seeing oneself through the positive lens others might offer. Despite its heavy subject matter, the song carries a message of hope—one that seeks to remind those who feel isolated that they are not alone and that help is always within reach.”
With expressive lyrics and a dynamic sound that shifts between moments of raw intensity and haunting beauty, Pacify and Reason is a poignant, resonant offering for anyone wrestling with self-doubt or seeking solace in shared experience.

The song was constructed internally by the band. Pacify And Reason is recorded, mixed and mastered by Lewis James, the band’s guitarist. The artwork was created by Liam Brain, the band’s bassist and the lyric video was created by Jordan Banks, the band’s vocalist.

Emily Drummond says “‘CYNTHIA’ tells the story of a character who personifies the unrelenting female rage and resilience that lives within us all. She is the embodiment of fire, revenge, and rebellion.” CYNTHIA is delivered in a raw third-person narrative, the track captures her journey of strength, determination, and perseverance—a true anthem for those who refuse to be silenced.

‘CYNTHIA’ was Recorded at SSL Studios by producer Justin Lindley and mixed and mastered by Lewis James, the single showcases the band’s dynamic sound, blending heavy riffs, driving rhythms, and hauntingly powerful vocals.
