Birmingham-based alternative rock band Mirrortalk have today announced their signing to Hassle Records. To celebrate, the band have released their new single ‘Circle The Drain’, marking their first release via the label. The announcement comes hot on the heels of their UK tour with Casey.
Speaking on the signing to Hassle Records, the band says, “We’re absolutely buzzing to announce that we’ve been signed by Hassle Records. Their roster and work speaks for itself, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the music we’re going to put out together. The tunes they’ve put out have touched so many people including ourselves, so to be a part of it is amazing.”
Mirrortalk hit hard, loud and unrelenting. Fueled by jagged guitars and driven rhythms, their music draws from post-hardcore, shoegaze, 90s heavy rock and grunge, anything that makes you belt your lungs out and bang your head. For Mirrortalk, music isn’t just tracks on a playlist, it’s the vibration of the amp, the snap of the snare and the collective chaos of the pit.
On their new single, the band shares, “‘Circle The Drain’ is about accepting your issues, and trying to face them with the person you love. Warning them of the challenge ahead, but pleading with them to join you.”
