Parisian pop-punk four-piece mirabelle. have announced the release of ‘Welcome To My Funeral – Cremation Edition’, the extended version of their debut album, out 30th October (self-release). The new release features four new tracks, including ‘Crybaby’ which is out now alongside a music video. ‘Crybaby’ marks a major turning point in the band´s sound with heavier riffs and irresistibly catchy pop-punk melodies. “The song is about being cornered emotionally. A moment of being trapped between two destructive options, where either choice pulls you under”, says the band. The accompanying music video was filmed during their summer tour in Korea and Japan this year. Formed in 2021, mirabelle. is a four-piece heavy pop-punk band from Paris, France. After a successful trail of singles and an EP, ‘Permanent Damage’, the band released their self-produced debut album ‘Welcome To My Funeral’ in the autumn of 2024. The album saw the band’s fun attitude and uplifting melodies heavily contradicted by their grimy, dark lyrics, with the album covering the subject of death in all its forms. The 17-track ‘Cremation Edition’ of the album, out 30th October (self-release), features four new tracks; ‘Crybaby’, ‘it’s fine.’, ‘M3NT4L SHR3KDOWN’, and a re-imagined version of ‘Cut Me Down’. “The extended album is a way for us to share songs we thought were too bold at the time of writing the original record. Things we wouldn’t allow ourselves, lower tunings, quirky samples… it’s also a way to close the “WTMF” chapter with a bang, and give a hint as to where we’re headed in the future,” says the band. Featured in Amazon’s ‘Artists To Watch’ 2025 program, mirabelle. released ‘it´s fine.’, the first single off of the extended version of the album, earlier this year. The track was featured on many of the platform’s playlists as the flagship pop-punk track of the season, which included a promo-board in Times Square, NYC and a painted mural in Brooklyn. Following the release of ‘Welcome To My Funeral – Cremation Edition’ in October, the band will be doing a 14-date tour in their home-country of France with all profits going towards the French charity ‘Les Restos du Coeur’.
