Based in South Florida, Ephemeral are carrying on the state’s death metal legacy with a foreboding metallic flair. Following 2023’s well received Tower Of Silence EP (DAZE), today Ephemeral announce their debut full-length, Envisaged Human Collapse, set for release October 3rd through Armageddon Records and Crows Nest Records. The eight track album was recorded and mixed by Nick Corcillo (Tracheotomy) at The Crypt Studios and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Blood Incantation). Sharing members with Collateral, Domain, and Undercrypt, and drawing influence from Deicide, Morbid Angel, and Suffocation, listeners can expect crushing violence, savage riffs, and guttural vocals.
On single “Bled Dry,” out now, a steady drum beat underlines shifty guitars and matured, growling vocals. At 1:50, a groove heavy breakdown ensues, set to cause chaos in the pit. The track can be heard on YouTube, Spotify, and all streaming services.
The band shares: “This song is about being bled dry in life, either from working your life away, or by the people in your life.”
Ephemeral is Tobby Davilmar (Guitar), Matt Cody (Drums/Vocals), Nick Cody (Guitar), and Alex Keese (Bass).
