Sydney alt-rock outfit Melrose Avenue are embracing a darker, more provocative era with their latest single, ‘Taste’ out now via Hopeless Records. Marking a bold evolution in the band’s sound and aesthetic, the track sees the quartet stepping confidently into their most fearless and uninhibited territory yet.
Following the single’s release, the band have today unveiled the official music video for ‘Taste’, further amplifying the track’s sultry intensity and shadowy edge.
Speaking on the new single vocalist, Vlado Saric shares, “Taste marks the next phase of Melrose Avenue stepping out of the light and letting our darker inhibitions take over – it’s about freedom, the right to be sexual, to be desired, and to desire. We felt our fanbase was ready for this side of us, and we wanted to give them exactly that”
