McCOY MOORE WELCOMES YOU TO THE SUNSHINE STATE
DEBUT ALBUM SET TO RELEASE MAY 22nd

NASHVILLE, TN. – Country newcomer McCoy Moore is turning up the heat with the release of his debut album, Sunshine State, out May 22. Pre-save/pre-add here.
“This record is something I’ve been working on my whole life and didn’t even know it. I feel like I covered all the bases of who I am, where I’m from, and the music I love to make. The people, the places, the memories, it all made this record, even after I left Florida,” shared Moore. “It was only right that I give a nod to the place where it all started, the Sunshine State. I hope y’all absolutely love this record and feel the heart that me and my friends put into it.”
Through beaming baritone vocals and a warm sonic glow, the Lakeland, Florida native embodies the land of perpetual summer, complete with its easy-does-it code of humble sincerity. A lifelong country fan schooled on late ‘90s and early 2000s radio, Kenny Chesney (his first concert), Tim McGraw, and Keith Whitley were the soundtrack to travel baseball and day trips to the beach, before a chance encounter with Luke Combs in 2017 helped propel Moore’s move to Nashville when he was 19 years old.
Co-writing all but one of 14 songs produced by hit maker Will Bundy (Riley Green, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett), modern muscle and a throwback country spirit tap the nostalgic heat of long-gone summers, while Moore’s vocal carries the buzz of an incoming thunderhead. Heavy bass lines and steel guitars hang thick like Spanish Moss off an old Live Oak (much like the one on the album’s cover, which was shot in his grandparents’ garage), with soaring emotions and bright melodies begging to be cranked up loud.
Moore, who is currently in Europe making his debut on the continent at C2C, has also been on the road with HARDY for his COUNTRY! COUNTRY! Tour, which saw the buzzy new talent crisscross Canada last month and will continue through September. Moore is already set for a breakout 2026, having been named an artist to watch by Holler, Country Now, Entertainment Focus, Music Mayhem, and more; Rock N Load summarises it best: “If modern country is at its best when vulnerability meets grit, McCoy Moore is an artist quietly getting it exactly right.”
Moore is represented by TRACK mgmt. and The Neal Agency with publishing through Smack Songs.
