January 30, 2026 – They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and Marmozets’ return after seven years away proves that point. Following a flurry of excitement after releasing their new songs, “Kiss From A Mother” and “You Want The Truth”, Marmozets now cement their comeback as they confirm their new album CO.WAR.DICE out May 22nd via Nettwerk. To celebrate, the band dropped their new single “New York.” Listen to “New York” HERE and pre-save CO.WAR.DICE HERE.

The long-awaited CO.WAR.DICE. still possesses the ferocity of OG Marmozets with Becca Bottomley’s blood-letting vocals and jagged riffs, but now it is channelled into heavyweight, melodically leaning songs, which waste no time in throwing their punches. Becca says, “CO.WAR.DICE. is an album reflecting on the state of our world and a vow to ourselves to leave this world in a better place. We may never make a huge impact, but we can only try. Like any story there’s a beginning, middle and end and we’ve chosen for a happy ending.”

The roots of CO.WAR.DICE. came as Becca and her husband, guitarist Jack Bottomley had become parents and had settled into a new chapter of life together. An impromptu Friday night jam at home led them to writing “New York,” the first new song they had written in what felt like forever.

New York is an eccentric city, full of eccentric people and that inspires us. We reminisced of our first trip over a bottle of red as we recorded ideas. We met a police officer smoking a cigar outside JFK airport, got in a cab while ‘Africa’ by Toto blasted out of the radio as we approached Manhattan. We wanted to write something that kind of encapsulated that 70’s punk energy while painting a picture of this wild experience we had of playing a show downtown to secure our first record deal,” adds Becca about “New York.”

From there, new horizons took on a life of their own. Becca’s drummer brother Josh Macintyre helped translate their ideas into fully-fledged demos, while her other sibling, Sam Macintyre, switched from guitar to bass following the amicable departure of original member Will Bottomley. They channelled a new power from the spaciousness of the adapted line-up, taking in influences like The Cramps and Devo, and secured their return with album sessions primarily produced by Johnathan Gilmore (Biffy Clyro, Nothing But Thieves).

Marmozets continue as they complete their underplay headline tour with the following dates, all of which are sold-out. This summer will also see them return to mammoth stages, starting as guests to Biffy Clyro at their 45,000-capacity Finsbury Park show on July 3rd.
