Manny Blu Ushers in New Music with Announcement of Country Punk EP – Out December 31st

Second Single “Too Bad So Sad” Available Now

NASHVILLE, TN. – (5th November, 2021) – Manny Blu has announced the release date for his latest project, Country Punk EP. On December 31st, Blu will cap off what has been a monumental year for him with the release of the 5-track project. Country Punk EP is now available for pre-save worldwide here.

Blu recently gave fans a first taste for what they can expect on the new EP with the release of his first single from the project, titled “Doin’ Fine.” His second single, “Too Bad So Sad,”  was released today and is available to stream/download everywhere here.

Country Punk EP embodies Blu’s created vibe of Country Punk perfectly as it combines hard-hitting rhythms, clever lyrical melodies, guitar riffs, and one stripped-down track. The EP is more developed than anything Blu has done in the past and is particularly special to him because he was able to co-produce the project.

Blu elaborates on how adding in his own touch in production makes the EP, “Getting the chance to co-produce the Country Punk EP with my own team gave me the ability to make this record exactly what Country Punk is to me and let me portray the vibe to the listeners. I’m extremely proud of this one and excited for everyone to hear it.”

Country Punk EP Track List:
1. “Doin’ Fine” (Stephen Allbritten, David Brown, Nathan Dohse)
2. “95” (David Brown & Ryan Pattengale)
3. “Balance” (Stephen Allbritten, Jake Olbauhm, & Nathan Dohse)
4. “Prove Me Wrong” (Stephen Allbritten & Nathan Dohse)
5. “Too Bad So Sad” (Matt Lukasiewicz)

Unlike anything Blu has released to date, his second single, “Too Bad So Sad,” focuses on his voice as he sings the relatable emotions of a lover who lashes out at a significant other who has betrayed him. Written by Matt Lukasiewicz and produced by Nathan DohseStephen Allbritten, and Blu, this track is special to Blu because it fit the sound of his Country Punk EP and because a couple of people close to him have also gone through similar situations in their romantic relationships.

Blu elaborates on the single’s composition, “I’ve always loved juxtaposition in a song and having a big heartfelt, belty chorus on stripped-down instrumentation created such a cool combination. Massively inspired by my friends’ relationship experiences, I had to record this song as soon as I heard it!”

Manny Blu has gained momentum with the release of his third EP, DEViL – a tracklist that uses his Country Punk attitude to express testaments of love and explain where he is at in his life right now. The DEViL EP takes Blu’s created vibe of Country Punk to the next level as it moulds the lyrical style of country music with the heavy infused beats and sounds of punk rock. The EP featured hit songwriters Michael HardyRyan HurdCraig WisemanRyan Beaver, and more. Since its release, Blu has been described as “Aldean meets Eddie Van Halen” (Lyric Magazine), and his tracks have garnered massive attention. “Train” (HERE) reached 1M+ streams. The official music video for “Might As Well Lead” (HERE) was broadcast on CMT, Nashville Country TV, CMC Country, and more.
