MADICIDE RELEASE SECOND SINGLE ‘NICOTINE LOVE’ FROM UPCOMING DEBUT ALBUM

With only a week to go before the debut self titled album from Welsh thrashers Madicide, we can finally reveal the 2nd single with streaming and YouTube Music Video going live today!

“Nicotine Love” is a very dark song thematically, dealing with issues of addiction, manipulation and controlling behaviors.

The lyrics work with metaphor to create a twisted Frankenstein image “…replace herbones with cigarettes, ashtrays for brains”.

The main riff used in the song is particularly stripped back and raw sounding compared to previous Madicide releases, going for hard punching grooviness over complex speed-metal riffage

About Madicide

Madicide are a Welsh Thrash metal band, originally formed in February 2011, their hard groovy thrash and frantic live shows are well known in the South Wales Metal scene that lead to countless headline shows in the UK.

After a lengthy hiatus from 2015 the lads returned to the fray in 2021, releasing Death March and Carnivore Incarnate and playing as many gigs as possible whilst revitalizing new songs before heading into to the studio.

Their last single ‘TommyKnockers’ explored the Stephen King book of the same name and was released in April 2023 and a new music video to accompany the release came out in July. 2nd Single ‘Nicotine Love’ explores  addiction, manipulation and controlling behaviors and was released on the 28th June.

Their debut self titled album ‘Madicide’ will be released on the 5th July 2024
