Languid indie lullabies from LA-based slacker supremo” – Uncut: 8/10

DeMarco offers up a dozen spare, languid songs recorded with just guitar and drums, intimate paeans to the challenges of sobriety and the transformative magic of live music.” – The Independent

‘Guitar’ is stunning and deeply idiosyncratic, unlike anything else in his discography. It contains some of his most intimate and sophisticated songwriting.” – The New Yorker

Mac DeMarco has announced a third night at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 10 June 2026 due to exceptional demand. The show forms part of an extensive UK and European summer tour, which also includes previously announced sold-out dates at the venue on 11 and 12 June. These performances mark DeMarco’s return to a residency at the iconic London venue for the first time since his sold-out 2019 run. DeMarco will also perform two sold-out shows at Glasgow’s Barrowlands on 1 and 2 September.

DeMarco has also been announced as a headliner for End Of The Road Festival, taking place from 3–6 September. In addition to his headline performance, he will host a special showcase from his imprint, Mac’s Record Label, on Friday 4 September 2026. A familiar presence at the festival over the years, DeMarco will curate a one-off label takeover on the Folly Stage featuring Daryl JohnsPedro MartinsTex Crick, and Vicky Farewell, bringing together a close-knit roster of genre-blurring artists for a rare collective appearance. Speaking on the showcase, DeMarco said: “I am incredibly excited to share these humans with you. Also, their music.

Following an extensive sold-out UK and North American run in 2025, Mac is set to embark on the next leg of his tour later this month, performing across Asia, South America, and North America, before returning to the UK and Europe this summer. The tour will also include festival appearances at Primavera Sound and Best Kept Secret. Remaining tickets are available from https://www.macdemarco.com/tour/. See the full schedule below.

Mac DeMarco’s most recent album, Guitar, is out now via Mac’s Record Label (stream/ buy here).

Guitar was written and recorded in its entirety in November 2024 at Mac’s home in Los Angeles. Except for the mastering, which was handled by David Ives, Mac created and handled all aspects of this record on his own, including mixing the album in Canada, and shooting the artwork on tripods. Mac comments, “I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper. I’m happy to share this music, and look forward to playing these songs as many places as I’m able.
